Brief Background on Kratom

Despite what many think, kratom is not some new fad product, it has been around for hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years. The Mitragyna Speciosa tree is akin to the coffee tree, as they are a part of the same family. Both contain natural compounds called alkaloids, which are also present in things like the tobacco plant, peppers, tomatoes and other nightshade. However, the leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa tree can contain as many as 80-100 different alkaloids. This is what makes kratom so special.

Once harvested, the farmers then dry and/or ferment the leaves to nourish the alkaloids. Then the leaves are either sold as whole dried leaves, used to make concentrates, or ground into a fine powder to make kratom powders, capsules or other kratom products.

The kratom tree grows in Southeast Asian regions such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Borneo and more. They need tropical conditions, rainfall and sunlight to thrive.

What Is Sumatra Kratom?

Sumatra Kratom, similar to Indo Kratom, is harvested solely from Indonesia. It is sourced from the deep jungle regions of Sumatra. As it contains extremely high levels of Mitragynine, Sumatra kratom is held as one of the most vigorous strains of kratom. It is extremely popular and often hard to find, but it is well worth the effort and the cost, according to kratom enthusiasts worldwide.

Green Sumatra Capsules

Green Sumatra kratom is sourced from very young kratom leaves. This means that even though Sumatra kratom is pretty potent, the green variety is pretty mild as compared to white sumatra kratom or red sumatra kratom. It is ideal for beginners due to its more mellow effects.

Green Sumatra Capsules are a great choice all-around. The capsules are easy to swallow, can be taken discreetly, and best of all, they are pre-dosed for convenience. Kratom powder can be tiresome as you have to weigh and measure each dose for accuracy. You never have to worry about under or over-dosing with kratom capsules. And as a bonus, you can skip past the sometimes bitter flavor associated with kratom powder.
